we thought it would be fun to look at some
great Summer projects, easy to transport and work on at camp or in your camper!

Jelly Roll Friendly
Interlock Quilt

uses 1 or 2 jelly rolls, depending on size you choose
to make: lap, twin or Queen
Layer Cake Friendly
Uses 1 layer cake, 2 1/2 yards for background,
1 1/2 yards for border, and 5/8 yard binding.
About 82 x 93"
1 layer cake, 1 yard of neutral, 1 1/4 for border blocks,
and 1/2 yard for binding
Charm Friendly
2 charm packs, 1/2 yard inner border,
1 1/2 yard outer border and binding
This is such a fun quilt!
For the center, you sew 6 charms together,
in twelve rows. You cut as directed in the video.
If you look closely at the picture, you will see I placed
all charms of the basic same color, right where I knew I would be
making a cut. When the pieces are rejoined (as directed in video),
it will give the outside of the square a same color going along the edge. Also, as there will be a total of 4 charms with the same design, if you make sure not to have any of the same charms on the long side edges, you will not end up with the same charms next to each other when reconfigured. Maybe the same design, but not in the same colorway. So fun to play with and experiment.
What I love most about this is how Jenny, talks about it being her signature wedding gift, with a not attached to never stop dating!
