June Moda Club Reminder

 Still finding a little time for sewing.....Hope you are too!   Moda Club meets this Wednesday, at 1p.m. or join us at 5:30p.m.    We have lots to share with you and love your show & tell.

 Used part of a panel to make this pillow.

 

 Squared panel piece up to 9x9, then added 1.5" borders.

 

Topped that off, with 3.5" borders. 

Then squared up to the same size as my pillow insert. 

If you want a looser fit, add 1 inch.

 



To put a zipper in the back, I always follow this great video or instructions

from House on Hill Road.

Summer is approaching, and with that road trips.   Most of us have grandchildren or special young people in our lives.   These road trip pillow cases would be a wonderful gift. 

 

 

The pocket on the pillowcase holds crayons, coloring books or electronic devises. 

The strap make transporting easy.

September Moda Reminder

April In Stitches Reminder

Looking forward to seeing what you've been working on this Thursday from 5-7p.m., at In Stitches. Warmer weather means smaller projects to me. Here are a few fun links.

A favorite slipper pattern from Ravelry

Dishcloth apron to hang on your detergent bottle. The only alteration I made was to do a little I cord instead of ties at the neck
