Our February Program focused on the Strip Smart Quilts Book and Creative Grids Double Strip Ruler. With this book and ruler, you could create 16 different quilts. It is great for using scraps, fat quarters, and is jelly roll friendly.
These are 3 of our quilts made with the Strip Smart Quilts Book.

Part Two of Bunny Hill Designs Scrappy Plate Challenge. Join us as we play along. We will have a door prize drawing, for those who make something with dresden plates, the month after her last set of instructions. You can get your name in the drawing one time for each dresden plate you used in your completed project. You could make a pillow top, table topper, smaller quilt or the project as written. It's my first time to make dresden plates, and so far I'm lovin it. Hope you are too!
Julie, our Moda Rep, joined us this month. She spoke about Moda Bake Shop and their newest challenge. You can find some pretty neat patterns for quilts and other projects free here.
February's featured pincushion was made using very small scraps from my most recent quilt.
This past month, we have had a special display of some of our favorite purse patterns and accessories. Along those lines, I wanted to share these links with you. Would love to see what kinds of purses and totes you are making this year.

This is a super easy tutorial for a purse organizer.
There were many amazing show and tells. I'd love to be able to share some pictures of your stuff here as we continue to develop this club site.
Three ways to qualify for the additional door prize drawing next month:
1. Something made from the Strip-Smart Quilt book or ruler
2. Any purse or purse related project from 2012
3. Continued participation with the Scrappy Plate Project
As always, we enjoy spending time with you. I get so inspired by seeing what you are making.
