Knitting Has Been Happening!

 New Madelinetosh is here!

Have you seen us on Facebook?
For some quick Summer knitting projects,
Sara, has been posting a new,
cotton, dish/spa cloth each week!

For our summer knitalong, this week's free dishcloth is a seed stitch pattern. We chose a patriotic colorway (which happens to be available in store), but this would look just as lovely in a solid.
Using size 7 needles and a worsted weight cotton yarn CO 30 sts.
Row 1: * K1, p1; rep from * to end of row....
Row 2: * P1, k1; rep from * to end of row.
Rep Rows 1 and 2 for a total of 50 rows or until desired length is reached.
Bind off in pattern.

Using this free pattern, Marie, made a great shop sample!
It uses two skeins of Pluscious, by Cascade Yarns.
(We carry the safety eyes and nose too.)

 Deb brought in several afghans.
As this is her version, I'm calling it
Deb's Big Needle Afghan

Materials:  6 skeins of Bernat Super Value Yarn (426 yards)
Size 50 Knitting Needle (circular)

Hold six strands together, and cast on 48 stitches

1.  Knit 3, Purl 3 across
Repeat row 1 until desired length
