September Moda Club

Thanks to all of you who brought Show & Tell, it's always inspiring!

TV 6 had picked up word of our Pillow Case Challenge,

and were at our 1p.m. Moda Club meeting.  After the news coverage, Judy Engle said two other sewing groups have contacted her about also making pillow cases for Griffin's Guardians.  

We will continue to collect pillow cases until November 1st.

 Pillow Case Instructions

In the club reminder, we posted instructions for adding pipping to a pillow.  At our meeting we shared a pillow made with our Christmas Panel.  The smaller panels prints were used to make a gift bag.

This book includes lots of inspiration for using the many applique critters it features.

Anna Mary put a demo together for us involving half square triangles and the Quilters Rule, Mini Triangle Ruler.   Anna Mary had to go out of town, unexpectedly, due to her mother's health.

We passed out instructions and have more rulers on order.  I will be doing a separate post,
 covering this information soon.
