This quilt uses one layer cake, 2 1/2 yards of background fabric, 1 1/2 yards for border,
and 5/8 yard for binding. Finished size 82x93.
A fun Summer project!

Some freebies on line are wonderful, sometimes not quite what we expect. I followed the instructions on this freebie only to find it would be more likely to hold a bowl, if using a 12" square instead of a 10" square.
(The darts were too deep)
These microwave bowls are the best!
They make great gifts too.
