So fun to see everyone!
For those of you who weren't able to join us,
here are the highlights.
Back in 2012, we did a dresdan plate sew along with
Bunny Hill
You can find her 4 part tutorial,
for making this small quilt here.
We also looked at the Disappearing Dresdan.
With the help of the prairie point tool, there is no need to make
a center for this desdan.
Susan Cleveland demonstrates how to use the prairie point tool
in this short video.
Anna Mary, did a very nice demo
on how to make a curved dresdan plate
If you missed her demo, here is a link to a tutorial.
Anna Mary, used a non fusible interfacing.
I made the shaded, or split, dresdan.
To get this affect, you sew two strips of fabric together.  Center your dresdan ruler so the seam is in the middle.
Rose made a beautiful pillow!
She featured the Spiked Dresdan.
Sandy made up a freebie link, by Clover and Violet
She used a charm pack and 1 yard of fabric for background, center and back of pillow. Be sure to stop in to see this cute sample!
We hope to have inspired you a little.
Next month, there will be a special door prize for anyone who brings in a dresdan show & tell.
Our new featured quilt...
