August Moda Club

LOVED all the show & tell!  Thanks ladies.
I'm always so inspired by what you bring to show!

Linda made this kids quilt, using the pattern Urban Cabin.
It features the fabric line, Theodore and Izzy.
This size uses only six fat quarters!
Urban Cabin:  kids, lap, twin, queen or king.

Moda Candy Also known as Mini Charms and Petit Fours.
Contains 42 squares - Each Candy square is 2.5” x 2.5”

We now have four lines of candy.
Moda has two pattern books devoted to projects for Candies.
Rose made this table topper using Lulu from one of the books.
They are perfect to use when making the midi and mondo bags.
Free, candy friendly patterns at Moda Bakeshop.

Anna Mary, whipped up these cute placemats.
This fabric line is called Marinated Chicken.

This month, we featured several patterns
using our new Halloween Fabrics:
We have a cute panel available this year.
One panel made the two wall hangings and the Halloween tote.
(I don't know how to publish a PDF, so I did a separate
blog post with instructions to make this tote)

Sandy, made Happy Jack, by This & That

Halloween Challenge!  If you make something, using our new Halloween fabrics, between now and the October Moda Club, we will put your name in a drawing for a free yard of fabric.

So many exciting yarns and patterns!

Shirley, made this baby blanket using just
4 skeins of Encore Colorspun.
Pattern calls for a 24" size 13 knitting needle

The top I was wearing is called Gemini, by Jane Richmond.  It's any easy, neck down pattern.  Mine was knitted with Ultra Pima Cotton (DK), by Cascade Yarns.

Tari wore a fitted tank top, with mock cables, made using Sun Seeker, DK: 48% Acrylic, 47% Cotton, 5% Metallic, also by Cascade.

In Stitches starts on 9/25/14.
We received our last shipment of the Sublime Lace Book.  There will be a door prize drawing at the evening In Stitches Program, for those who participated in our Summer KAL.  We are very excited to share our next KAL with you for Fall.
